In the LDS Church, general conference is a series of semiannual meetings where general authorities and other church leaders preach sermons and give guidance to church members. Although each general conference originates from Salt Lake City, the conference is considered an international event for the church. From April 2018 to April 2021, the priesthood session was held during the April conference, with a General Women's Session (for females 11 years and older) held during October's conference. During each conference, church members gather in a series of two-hour sessions to listen to the faith's leaders.
